Hummingbird offers friendly and informal art classes taught by experienced working artists, suitable for any students wishing to improve their skills or knowledge.

Bar holds painting and drawing classes at Hummingbird every Tuesday morning 10.30-12.30 and Wednesday evening 7pm to 9pm. These are 10 week courses, with the next block of classes starting January 10th 2012. Students can join at any time but classes are full now until June.
The 10 week term costs £100 and consists of 20 hours, that is just £5 an hour. Lessons are with the experienced teacher and painter Bar Spurr. All materials and equipment will be provided free of charge by the studio.Contact Bar for further information.

Bebe Bird teaches a range of techniques and methods used in pottery, providing 6 different clays and glazes to suit personal choice. Materials and equipment are provided for students of mixed abilities with a focus on personal development. Class times: - Mon 9.30am -12:30pm and 7pm - 9pm
- Wed 2pm - 4pm and 7pm to 9pm
The prices are as follows: £15 for 2 hours, £22.50 for 3 hours. Classes resume January 9th. Classes are fully booked.

challenging but highly enjoyable sessions, suitable for complete
beginners and the more experienced. Short and long poses.
What to bring - Just YOURSELVES ! I will supply everything: Paper,pastels,pencils,charcoal and oodles of enthusiasm
Fee : 45 pounds per day ( 40 pounds conc.) This is a slight increase of 5 pounds due to having a model all day.
Also, 5 Mondays beginning Feb 20th. 11am-2pm

encourage you to experimenting with not just the tile mosaic, but old crockery,
found objects and things that are precious or special to you. These can be
incorporated in the simplest of plaque to larger pieces of furniture like small
chairs, boxes etc.
